F1 on the chair [*my_design&event]
Last night, I enjoyed this year's final F1 Gramd Prix.
The ending was dramatic and It's enought
to be satisfied us the coming new generation.
When I was watching TV,
I have tried to project the TV image from the inside of my chair.
The picture is the test.
sprint for this last week and the next is Tokyo Designer's Week!

It's first image of latest share chair design for
Tokyo Designer's Week 2007.
This year's is stool type.
The design have a lot of the problems yet,
and now changing earnestly to solve that.

Norick gone to Heaven [*love & life]
Norifumi "Norick" Abe, Former MotoGP racer was died at public road, not in a circuit.
A motorcycle race is not popular in Japan.
Japanese racers is famous in Europe more than in Japan,
And most of Japanese don't know Japanese Racers compete for
the championship in MotoGP,
250cc and 125cc class World Championship.
But Norick made an effort to proceeded the poularity
between his circuit actibity time.
R.I.P.
but I couldn't believe that. I believed He'd back to MotoGP again.

NiGHTS Rebirthed [*cinema&arts]
NiGHTS!

NiGHTS?
Today, I went to Tokyo Game Show 2007 to see the Video game, NiGHTS.
Original NiGHTS was released from Sega sonic team in 1996
for Sega Saturn platform.
Sega Saturn had analog controller in their optional peripheral, first.
And NiGHT teached us that how funny the analog feeling.
( After that, SCE make analog controller as their standard controller,
Nintendo and SEGA followed. )
And this winter, NiGHTS'll be back!
I played the playable demo.
New NiGHTS is very similar to old one,
But you may mind the controller's difference,
( Sega and SCE's analog controller have circle shaped edge,
but Nintendo's is Octagon. )
and I couldn't found Nightopian A-life system...
But I could found some of the new Ideas.
I can't to wait the completion in this winter!

セガのゲーム、ナイツが復活します。
ナイツは家庭用のゲームとしてはもっとも早く、
アナログコントローラーの魅力を伝えたゲームです。
今回のデモをちょっとやった限りでは、
操作感は前とほとんど変えてない感じでした。
どのようなゲームにするのか、今からたのしみデス。
JUST DO IT. [*love & life]
Last week, I went to see the skate boad park in Yoyogi Park.
The park was sponcered by NIKE and kept for the week only.
After that, I went to laten music event in the valley of Roppongi hills
Buildings.
Salsa dance workshop was helded in the program.
Lot of the peoples enjoyed the dance freely!
It's very important that a company make a space for such as minor cultures.
If you want to keep a skateboarding in Tokyo,
it's not a easy way.
Tokyo is not a small city, but too many inhabitants in there.
And peoples keep their entitlement each other.
You may make agreements and rules for your skating.
But many peoples hate the such as new or minor culture.
And a few peoples deny it.
Many of the new ideas and interest things was
born in such as minor culture,
and every people received the benefit indirectly.
But sometime, new rule deprive a free space, and kill the culture.
No rule is very important as a rule.
新しいことや楽しいことはマイナーな文化からやってくる。
それをつぶさないためにも、ルールをつくらないことは
ルールを作ることと同じくらい重要デス。

Transform! [*cinema&arts]
I got the Transformable Ball, latest Hoberman designed toy.
Hoberman Designs was formed by Chuck Hoberman at 1995.
And he made his name as Toy Designer by Very Expandable Sphere.

The Sphere's function is expanding from 9" to 30" in diameter, that's all.
But everyone's attention was engaged by the instructions
and the geometry.
Originally, He is a famous Architect.
He made some of the Transformable Dome Architectures.

They are trying to find new possibilities for product function
by their transformation.
That's Idea is similar to my chair.
I used furniture transformation to pull out the user's communication :-)

By the way, I watched Transformers movie.
I enjoyed the Transformation. But I regretted a little.
Such as Transformable Robotics Expression was from Japanese Animation.
But Hollywood peoples could invest to such as The No story Guy's Movie,
and they made every effort enough.
Japanese Cinema never did it.
I surprised The cinema's hero was not a strong,
and the Machine helped the weak hero.
It's not in coventional Hollywood method scripting,
but in Japanese typical Robotics story. and they succeeded.
They must have researched American and Japanese Robotics Stories.

I started to make this year's my chair.
And I tryed to design have an elegant round shaped one.
But the elegance was incompatible with my gimmick.
At last, it became a flop...
I need my elegance :-P
Natural keyboard UnNatural [*gadgets]
TRON Project is not only for OS deveropment
but thinking between User and Information tech.

Original "TK1" TRON-specification keyboard was developed at 1991,
focused finger moving and key imput usage.
But TK1 is serial keyboard and you can use only special Japanese OS,
Cho-Kanji ( 超漢字 ) OS Today.
SKELETRON ST-2000 keyboard was repricated TK1. It was planned by TANOMI.COM website.
TANOMI.COM is one of the " Collective Customer Commitment " commerce .
Gather the applicant, and help their Group purchase.
SKELETRON is similar to TK1. But the colour is skeleton, no touch pad,
and PS/2 connective.
Today, you can use it at Windows and Mac OSX with USB-PS/2 adapter !
I got it at web auction. The radiate Dvorak keylayout was
optimized skeleton finger moving.
I tryed to accustom the layout.
But the key switch is cheap and the feeling is bad.
We should mind the principal 1st.

Cheapen soft light [*my_pictures]
Last night I took Juri-san's pictures.
When you take a picture, if you light an object directly,
the object got a high light and heavily shade.
But I wanted to use more soft light and shade.
Usually for the purpose, Diffuser is used but it's very expencive.
My motive was to know my needs
to use a such as expencive products or not.
I putted a cheap white umbrella (instead of the expencive Diffuser)
in front of my Flash Unit.
The way looks so good :-)
But Juri-san looks so bad.
Germin man ( Grab Your Garmin ) [*gadgets]
Basically I said, Garmin products is handy and reliable GPS Navigation Unit.
The movie is CF for it, but I can't believe why... let's see.

sweet vanilla taste fruit [*eats&sweets]
Atemoya is a tropical fruit known as vanilla taste.
Last week, I founded it at supermarket in Tokyo Midtown.
It was very expencive, @$5, but I tryed.
When I got it, It had bright green colour like a Star Fruit.
Five days after, the Picture, looks so bad.
But it was fit to eat.
I felt the taste is not a vanilla, regrettably.
But like a blend of mango and papaya, sweet and delicious.
When you find it, let's try!

Super GT and The Race Queen [*my_pictures]
Last Friday, I went to Fuji Speedway Circuit to watch the Super GT championship.
Fiji Speedway is the site for this year's F1 Granprix in Japan.
( Moved from Suzuka by TOYOTA's Power ;-)
And nearest big circuit from Tokyo.
Super GT is production car race.
Most of the parts was replaced and original parts may only cavin's frame,
but they keep the design as well known production car's shape.
In the 500 hourses powered upper class, not only privateer teams but works team,
Honda, Nissan and Toyota invest for it.
On the other the 300 houses powered lower class,
to be much more varied types of cars entered from privateers,
not only japaneae car but Ferrari 430, Lamborghini Murcielago, Gallardo,
Porsche 911GT3RS , Ford GT and more.
In the past, the championship was umpopular.
But they tryed to change the rules and events to
make more excitable race event.
That's one of their service for their fans.
They took a lisk you could enter the grid just starting the race.
Lots of the spectators inside the course. ( need the paddock pass. )
All over the grids.
And they took the machines and grid girls ( called Race Queen ) pictures.
Don't you hurry guys, sure I took Naughty Grid Girls pictures too !

They were too sexy, I couldn't close up them any more :-)
Last picture is the opening race, Nissan March Cup.
Nissan March is called Micra in other countries.
The design is very cute and show us The New Nissan Ways.
In the race, the equal condition make too excite and troubled,
but I could enjoy it.
Today's compact car have a enought potential fto enjoy a circuit.

small planet at Tokyo Midtown [*my_pictures]
This week, most of the japanese peoples take public holidays.
and the week is called "Golden Week".
A Lot of the peoples come to Roppongi,
I wanted to take their picture.
I tryed to follow Naoki Honjo-san's "miniature fictional world".
But he use special "tilt" lens, that's for Professional Archtect Pictures
and too expensive.
I used LOMO SMENA 8M lens and holded it in front of my camera by my finger.
And tilted down it.
This is Hinoki-machi park at back side of Tokyo Midtown buldings.

Last week, I went to Tokyo Motor Show 2007.
That's biggest motorcycle show in Japan
The picture is bimota DB5 frame and cowled.
How marvelous!

Front swing arm's pivot was downed. that looks good for the front alignment.
The hub steering system was arranged at left side.
The World's fastest bike, Ducati Desmosedici, MotoGP Racing Machine.
Ducati latest Super bike, 1098s. Just arrived in Japan.
simply front mask frame looks easy to remove the light box for a racing :-)
Yamaha may release "Racer Replica" Motard bike for a public load.
The bike " WR250R, WR250X " have non-tube frame, at last.
Aluminum extrusion and cast frame come to non racer off-load and motard bike.
And I tryed to join in the photo session
in a herd of the camera and photo mania boys called "came-ko ( camera - kozo )".
but I lost.
