$50 cheapest 'Pad'

Recently, My friends get some tablet devices, foo-Pad and bar-ndle :-)
But I got cheapest electric pad, Bookie Board.

The Simply Device allow Writing,



and Deleting.



That's it.

The device looks no Digital Circuit, and the (Analog) resolution is very high.
And it keep the writing with no electricity.
I like the simplest tablet.

SLR Camera makes new Cinema.

D90 is new middle class Digital SLR Camera from Nikon,
and it's the first SLR to offer movie function.




Most people may not understand the availability.

Why record by Motion-JPEG? ( Can't use MPEG-4? )
Manual Forcus only?
Not Full HD? / Why 24p?

Nikon did by halves?

Most advantage of the movie function on Digital SLR Camera is the large sensor.
The sensor size is same as 35mm professional film camera for a large studio.
We can use the cinema like expression include the ability to use
selective focus effects by depth of field, with cheap cost.
And think the functions for Digital Cinema,

Motion-JPEG: No GOP correlation. That's good for editing.
Manual Forcus: OK, MF is trusty than AF. ( but we need close up focusing mode )
720/24p: 720 is enough for Digital Cinema, and 24p is just flame rate for Motion Pictures.


But there's fatal problem we'd use Multi AE mode constantly
during we use the movie function.
Movie mode don't reflect the choise of the mode dial,
Damn means we couldn't adjust manually :-(
IRIS was fully opened dualing Movie mode.

OK, There is the way we can use IRIS on the Movie mode
when attach a manual rens for the camera. ( ex. Ai Nikkor 35mm F1.4S )
SLR Camera couldn't control such as the rens.
But no way to control the shutter speed and gain, by manual.
The problem stop to use it for Digital Cinema.


Now, D90 movie function isn't enough to use Digital Cinema,
but They opened The Door.
I hope more functions at the firmware upgrade.

...and I NEED the functions for EOS !

skinny BMW

Last year, I made a chair wrapped skinny video screen.
One of the difficulty is choice the screen's material.
It's needed not only stretch properties but enough restoring properties.
But more difficulty point was making effective design using the simple skinny line.

It have soft skinny designed body instead of the hard metalic material.
And change the shape with organic moving.
You can find that today's BMW design concept was started from the study,

Last month, MIT Professor Michael Resnick came to Japan.
He is the researcher at the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at MIT.

He developed legendary educational equipment to make the
creative spiral process of
imagine-create-play-share-reflect and return to imagine spiral.
and at last, created Lego Mindstorms Robotics system.

But I think, the Creative spiral is generated
to play original LEGO brick too.
In other words his LEGO system just expand it.

Last week - January 28, 2008 was
50th anniversary of the LEGO brick.

Original "TK1" TRON-specification keyboard was developed at 1991,
focused finger moving and key imput usage.
But TK1 is serial keyboard and you can use only special Japanese OS,
Cho-Kanji ( 超漢字 ) OS Today.

SKELETRON ST-2000 keyboard was repricated TK1. It was planned by TANOMI.COM website.
TANOMI.COM is one of the " Collective Customer Commitment " commerce .
Gather the applicant, and help their Group purchase.

SKELETRON is similar to TK1. But the colour is skeleton, no touch pad,
and PS/2 connective.
Today, you can use it at Windows and Mac OSX with USB-PS/2 adapter !

I got it at web auction. The radiate Dvorak keylayout was
optimized skeleton finger moving.

I tryed to accustom the layout.
But the key switch is cheap and the feeling is bad.
We should mind the principal 1st.

Last week, I went to Tokyo Motor Show 2007.
That's biggest motorcycle show in Japan

The picture is bimota DB5 frame and cowled.
How marvelous!

simply front mask frame looks easy to remove the light box for a racing :-)

Yamaha may release "Racer Replica" Motard bike for a public load.
The bike " WR250R, WR250X " have non-tube frame, at last.
Aluminum extrusion and cast frame come to non racer off-load and motard bike.

And I tryed to join in the photo session
in a herd of the camera and photo mania boys called "came-ko ( camera - kozo )".

Suicaペンギンとイヌ。

ジュリの予防注射をおねがいしに
近所の獣医さんに行ったらパンフレットをもらった。
そのパンフレットに描かれた絵は
Suicaペンギンの人、さかざき　ちはるさんの犬だ。

Suicaペンギンのファンは多い。
初めてのSuicaペンギングッズは
限定Suicaだった。
あのペンギンの瞳にヤられた人は
記念切手のように限定Suicaを買い求めた。

セレブなロールペーパー

ネピアの鼻セレブっていうネーミングも
すごいとおもってましたが、
なんと鼻セレブのトイレットーペーパー版を発見!
名前はもちろん、シ......肌セレブでした。
残念。

で、使ってみた感想は、オレ様セレブ失格。
なんかやわらかくて不安で
長めにつかってしまうのでもったいなかったデス。

きっとセレブならトイレ詰まりなんて考えずに、
躊躇なくコロコロコローッと
紙が中に舞うように引き出して使うのでしょう。

トイカメなペーパークラフト

職場でペーパークラフトがなぜか大流行中。
オレもブームにのってペーパークラフトのカメラを
作ってみた。雑誌のフロクでついてたやつだ。

ぴったりあう皮ケースをみつけていれてみた。
皮ケースが古かったんでそれにあわせてカメラにヨゴシをかけてみた。
" 使い込んでますね! "
なんてタマにいわれるけど、フェイクだし。
そのことを正直に告白すると微妙な空気が流れるし。ゴメンヨ。

フェイクなんで使えば使うほどヨゴシがとれて
きれいになってしまうのがコマル!

Pivi 募集にTrackBack!

Piviっていう携帯で撮った写真を
その場でプリントできるプリンターがある。

チェキのようなインスタントフィルムに
撮ったデジタル写真を焼き付ける小箱だ。
プリンターとしては異様に小さいので
どこへでも持っていって撮った写真をプリントアウトして配れる。
ようするに携帯をチェキのように使ってもらうためのプリンタなのだ。

ケータイの着ぐるみ

後追いでデザインにこだわったケータイを出してはみるもの、
auのこだわりにくらべるとその品質は
バンダイの出すシャア専用製品レベルな
いまどきのvodafoneのデザイン戦略ですが、
久方ぶりにコンセプト的に他社を出し抜いたケータイが発売された。
それがこのV501Tだ。

思えばAppleがBookCoverという着せ替え機能を
PowerBookにつけて早数年、
パソコンではまったくはやらずも着せ替えケータイという形で、
電子機器の見た目を変えられる機能が花開いた昨今ですガ、
V501Tではシリコンでできた着ぐるみを
ケータイまるごとかぶせることができるようになっています。
このジャケットを交換することによって、
色だけでなく、形を変えることができるのが特徴だ。

ジャケットのデザインをみると、形そのものを変えるというよりは
今までケータイにはなかった質感とか感触を与えるのがコンセプトみたい。
ボディーのまわりにシリコンの毛が生えたようなやつとか
吸盤だらけのやつまである。

着ぐるみ機能ばかりが目立つけどケータイ本体のつくりもよさげで
ボタンの押しやすさなんかにも気を配ってるみたい。
デザイン的にも派手さはないし厚みもあるけど、
電池のフタの形やマットなシルバーや
彩度低めの配色なんかにもこだわりが感じられます。

で、オレさまも " Bull " の着ぐるみを買って、自分のケータイに着せてみた。
すげー、自立してるゼ。

イヤ、買ったのは着ぐるみだけデス。
オレのケータイはまだ J-PHONE デス。
ボタンはタッチパネルでdocomo の ヘンなFOMA M1000 にも負けないデス。
ボディはマグネシウムというウワサがあるデス。
製造メーカーはPE。もちろんパイオニアのことデス。

液晶モノクロデス。でも画面大きくて文字の多いメール見やすいデス。
でもメールは128文字位までしか送受信できません。
イヤ条件によっては192文字までできるとかできないとか。知らん。
液晶はデカいけど、pixel数は 128×88 しかないらしいとか。知らん。

...兎に角、はやくvodafoneになりたい!

ちなみにこの Bull さん、意外に貧弱デス。
ケータイ着せてると徐々に足が広がってきます。Bullのくせに。
おなかと床がくっつくぞ。いつか。
